How to Join:
To join the Multi-Artist Collab, you simply have to send a note to =Bayleef- requesting to do so.
Please note you are only allowed to contribute one frame to the comic at this time, so you can only sign up once.

What Can you Draw:
First off, EVERYONE'S frame MUST be 600X400 Pixels in size (Example further down).
The Theme of the Collab is 'Yu-Gi-Oh!'; this includes all four different seasons of the series
(Season 0, Duel Monsters, Generation X (GX) and 5D's), as well as the manga (Yu-Gi-Oh!, Duelist, Millennium World,
R, GX and 5D's [Yet to be released]). As such, you can draw any character that has ever appeared in the series.
Please note, if you introduce a character you must be willing to answer any questions following artists may have on the character.
No fan-characters/OC's/self-inserts allowed.
No explicit content. (well, you can, but I'll have to slap a 4Kids logo on it; do you want that? XD)
No out-of-series characters, unless their purpose can be served in a single frame. (Not everyone would know these characters)


The Style of art allowed:
You can include any kind of drawn art-style you wish in the collab; traditional, digital, lineart, fully coloured; it's entirely up to you!
You can draw realism, chibis, or pretty much any style you wish. Variety is the spice of life, after all
Tracings, Desktop Screenshots, Photo-manipulations, photographs etc. are banned. Your frame must be your own creation, your own drawing.
If you have an different art-form you'd like to use that you think would be an interesting addition to the collab
(Hey, we're open to all suggestions!) just contact =Bayleef- and a poll will be put up to vote on the matter.


When your frame is complete:
Post the frame in your DA account, and send a note to =Bayleef- saying it has been posted.
In the description you can post whatever you like, but you MUST include a link to the frame before and after your own,
which I will send to you by note when you contact me if you have not yet linked them already.
You will also be asked to include a link to this journal, which will look like this The Comic is part of the Multi-Artist Collab
I will also send you this in the note. This is so people can find the comic pages from start to finish
Your frame will be added to the 'Comic' section on this page, your name will be moved to the 'Completed Frames' list, and you'll be done!


Please be cautious of:
Pairing characters - I won't ban it, but serious pairing of characters is discouraged (Jokingly or having something fangirl/fanboy over another is fine)
Going too off-track - Please read all the frames prior to your own; this is a comic, and it needs to read as such, so try and keep some sort of flow to
the story. (That said, you ARE allowed sudden scene changes if it's called for)
Bringing in out-of-series references - Again, it's not banned, but just make sure it works with the comic.

Time Limit:
Each person has one week to complete their frame.
At this time, if it their frame has not been posted, I will get in contact with this person. If they need extra time, they can have a further 3 days to complete their piece.
After this time, unless the person has a genuine reason to need more time, I will have to by-pass their frame and pass it onto the next person.

Dropping Out:
If you drop out of the collab, you may not be able to rejoin the list.

"X and Y has come up, and now I don't have the time/material/etc. to complete my part of the comic on time! Would I be able to drop out for now?"
It's understandable that things can get in the way from time to time (Real life; what a bother it is!). If you feel you do not have the time or means by which to finish your piece on time, then you are free to drop out and join in again later if you still wish to take part. You MUST send a note to =Bayleef- if you need to drop out for any reason.



"I'm uncomfortable with drawing a continue to the frame before mine (eg, it contains a theme etc. I'm not comfortable with); would it be ok if the collab skipped me this turn?"
As this is a challenge, you are asked to just 'go with the flow' of the comic, and just try to have fun trying something new
If you are really uncomfortable with the piece, send a note to =Bayleef- stating why, and I'll consider moving you down the list, but it's highly unlikely I will do so.
Dropping out is the only other option, and I'm afriad if you do so you cannot rejoin the collab later on.



"Why only one frame?"
Simply because it's more of a challenge to people, as well as providing everyone with an equal contribution. Also because the majority voted for it



"What do I do if I can't think of a response to the last frame?"
Though I think you should try your best to create the frame on your own, there's no reason you can't ask your friends for help
The only other option is to drop out of the comic, but I'm afraid if you do so after being given the comic you cannot rejoin the collab again at any point.



"Why are we banned from making pairings?"
Because pairings are a bit of a touchy subject for a lot of fans, in any show. There are a lot of hardcore shippers out there, and the last thing we want is for any of these people to get upset because of a pairing someone else introduced.
(You can, however, throw in pairing jokes for amusement or drop hints towards pairings, so long as the characters don't end up together. That or fangirling/fanboying of one character to another, cause that counts as a form of character torture XD)



"Why can't we include OC's/Characters from other series(Eg Naruto)?"
This is simply because the person following you may not know the series you have brought into the comic, and the same goes for OC's. You can still make references to such anime, though, like having Yami going Super-Saiyan or Kaiba singing about Jenny and Joy Just make sure it's a one-frame gag that can be ignored/coasted if the next person desires to do so



"Can we add Yu-Gi-Oh! Abridged references? 8D"
Absolutely XD But I'd still encourage you come up with your own stuff when you can.
